The good county mayor, along with
Knoxville Councilman Nick Della Volpe, will participate in the
inaugural game of bocce ball at the county's first framed, public
bocce ball court. Whatever all that is.

The game takes place at 10:30 a.m.
Friday at Strickland Park (4618 Asheville Highway), according to the
latest county spin release.
