The county is teaming up with
Independent Insurance Consultants to present a community carnival at
the Carter Senior Center (9040 Asheville Highway) on Friday from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m.
It's free and open to the public. The
event also will offer free health screenings, and 25 area businesses
will offer free stuff.
There also will be games and prizes.
