I just saw this story. Right smack here. Apparently, the local leader
folks announced Tuesday that Knoxville will host the nation's largest
outdoor adventure racing event. (Why do I suspect those hippies over
in the city are behind this?)
The Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Racing Championship will be held this
October. As the largest bad boy on the block, it features sanctioned
events and six divisions across the country. The Knoxville race will
be the annual season-ending Championship.
