Friends of Literacy to host auction

My good deed for the day: I’m pimping out Chris Caldwell, aka “money bags, aka “Casual Chris,” aka “Color Coordinated Chris,” aka Knox County Finance Director. Heh.

According to his letter – right smack here – Caldwell had joined a group of bachelors up for auction in an effort to raise money for Friends of Literacy. For all the silliness it’s actually a pretty worthy cause, and even da Blog has donated a few folding bills, if only to help combat illiteracy.

The auction is set for March 14. You can check out the list right smack here. Caldwell said his goal is to raise $1,000.

In addition, to Caldwell, my old buddy Saul Young, a local photographer, is a candidate.
