Well, looks like late last month former Tennessee basketball coach and
current Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl has downsized his Knoxville house.
According to property records out the Register of Deeds
Office, he and wife, Brandy, swapped homes with Bill and Jennifer Bergner. The
Pearls got rid of their Gettysvue home for $1.8 million and bought one off
Linksvue Drive, which is just down the street, for $1.14 million.

According to Zillow, the Pearls exchanged five beds, seven baths and 10,200 square feet for six beds, five baths and almost 7,000 square feet.
I don’t know how common this is, but it will probably be
easier for him to flat out sell a $1.14 million house later on (taxes also are
cheaper) than a $1.8 million one.
